Day 1 :  Arrive Jabalpur Airport to Kanha National Park (140 Kms/ 3 Hrs)

On your arrival at Jabalpur Airport, pick up & move towards Kanha National Park. It is popular for Bengal tigers but it owes its fame to Rudyard Kipling’s “Jungle Book”. The lush forests, vast pastures and ravines along with the wild animals such as the tigers, sloth bears, pythons and elephants inspired the author. It won’t be wrong to say that every animal character of the book is based on the inhabitants of the park.

Kanha National Park is also known for its large population of antelopes and deer including the rare swamp deer (barasingha). This sprawling park is spread over an area of more than 940 sq kms. Enveloped with sal and bamboo forests, gentle streams and rolling grasslands this park with its spectacular green vistas entices the tourists.On arrival in Kanha, check-in at hotel and spend the day at leisure. Day 2 : Kanha National Park

Start the day early in the morning to explore Kanha National Park. Traverse through the pristine landscape of the sal and bamboo forests to spot the tiger, leopard, barasingha, barking deer, jackal, gaur, sloth bear, black buck, fox, hyena, jungle cat, porcupine, civet and Indian wild dog.  Seeing wild animals in their natural habitat is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience. The first jeep safari starts early in the morning before breakfast and the second is in the afternoon.

Both safaris last approximately three hours. In between game drives you can opt to relax at your hotel or discover The Kanha Museum inside the park.

Day 03                 Kanha National Park to Bandhavgarh National Park (230 Kms/ 4 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel & depart for Bandhavgarh National Park. Sprawling over 1536 Sq.km. Bandhavgarh National Park is a tiger reserve and is home to some world-renowned tigers such as Charger and Sita who is one of the world’s most photographed tigers. Bandhavgarh has the highest density of tiger population in natural surroundings in India. There is a saying about the park that goes: “In any other park,

you are lucky if you see a tiger. In Bandhavgarh, you are unlucky if you don’t see (at least) one.” With rich bio-diversity, the park is a breeding ground for a large population of leopards, cheetals, sambars, barking deer and stripped hyenas too. The dense forests and grasslands in this park are surrounded by towering cliffs and verdant mountains. Its natural beauty will simply mesmerize you. On arrival in Bandhavgarh, check-in at hotel.  Day 04                 Bandhavgarh National Park

Today, go on a morning and afternoon safari to explore Bandhavgarh National Park and its rich wildlife. Before the sun rises, embark on a morning safari and witness the beautiful sunrise panorama. It is the best time for bird-watching and capturing the views of birds flying at eye-level. The park is home to more than 200 avifaunal species, including heron, painted stork, vultures, white breasted kingfisher, hawk eagle, crested serpent eagle and pairs of sarus cranes.

Safari at Bandhavgarh National Park revolves around spotting the tigers and other animals. Sidhbaba temple and Chakradhara meadow are the regions where tigers are spotted the most, while Gopalpur region is ideal for bird-watching. Day 05                 Bandhavgarh National Park to Panna National Park (200 Kms/ 4 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel & depart for Panna National Park. Today, the national park has been successful in grabbing the attention of oodles of wildlife buffs and nature lovers travelling from across the globe. When visiting the park tourists can take a walk in the deciduous forest while spotting the species including Sloth Bear Pangolin, Indian Wolf, Four-Horned Antelope, Leopard, Rusty Spotted Cat, Gharial,

Chousingha, Indian Fox, Porcupine and a lot more. Covering an area of approx 542.67 sq km, the Panna National Park not only lets the tourists come across the rich wildlife and nature but also numerous sites that hold the historical importance. In the sense, visiting the park, tourists get the opportunity to witness the stone paintings that date back to the Neolithic era. Declared as a wildlife sanctuary in the year 1981, the national park proffers the tourists a number of things to do that makes holidays in the Panna National Park a memorable one. Day 06                 Panna National Park

Spend the day exploring the wildlife at Panna National Park. Start with a morning safari, then take some rest and later embark on an afternoon safari. Panna National Park is also a tiger reserve in India. Though the Park bagged the Excellence Award in 2007 as the “best maintained” National Park of the country by Tourism Ministry of India,

it continues to be one of the better parks. Tigers are no doubt the major attraction of Panna. Other frequently sighted animals here include the sambhar, cheetal, langoor, wildboar, jackal, chinkara and chausingha. Cascading through the forests of Panna, the Ken River is home to crocodiles and vultures that can be easily spotted here. Between game drives, you can take a boat ride on Ken River and soak in the scenic beauty of the National Park. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07                 Panna National Park to Khajuraho (55 Kms/ 1 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from hotel & proceed for Khajuraho. Khajuraho is well known for the captivating stone carvings etched into stark relief on the three groups of World Heritage–listed temples. The Western Group of temples, in particular, contains stunning sculptures that together make up some of the finest temple art in the world.

Khajuraho in itself, is a delightful, quiet lit little town, perfect for spending few days.

Arrive Khajuraho & check-in at hotel. Afternoon drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as the ‘Western Group of Temples’. Start your visit with the Kandariya Mahadev temple, the most popular and beautiful massive structure here. It is a magni ficent piece of artistic sculptural work decorated with over 870 statues and carvings. Stroll through other temples, including the Chausath Yogini Temple. Unlike other Chausath Yogini temples elsewhere, this one is rectangular in shape and not rounded. The temple dates back to the late 9th century and is said to be Khajuraho’s oldest surviving temple. This evening, you also have the option to attend a captivating Sound and Light show. Set out at 1800 hours and drive to the Western group of temples, where show is played out. Then return to hotel & Overnight stay at hotel.

This is the last day of the tour & it’s time to say Goodbye to this romantic journey into the wilderness. After breakfast check out from hotel & proceed towards Khajuraho airport to board connecting flight for your onward journey.
